The rainy season

 There are three main seasons in India. Winter, Summer and Rainy season. Rain is God's blessings for us all as it does lot of good to all of us. The person who has gotten sick from heat and sweat of summer gets cool by showers of rain. It mainly provides us with drinking water to men, animals and plants. It helps the plants and vegetables to grow. Every vegetation looks more greener and happier in the Rainy Season. Rivers and lakes fills with water.

Rain water washes away the filth and rubbish and makes the area clean and more fertile. The earth also becomes cool and happy in rainy season. Mountains look more greener due to all new small plantations on them.

Rainy season is the main fun time for little children as they get holiday due to heavy rain they also enjoy playing in the small ponds near their houses. They make paper boats and enjoy playing with them. Sometimes they purposefully avoid umbrellas just to get wet in the rain and have fun.

In the Rainy Season, the earth literally wears green carpet. Animals and birds get happy as well Peacock and frogs get out to express their joy . The beautiful rainbow decorates the sky with its colour. Sometimes the sun plays hide-and-seek with the rain. It shines brightly and suddenly hides behind the cloud and rain starts. Sometimes Sun and rain both comes hand in hand and it creates beautiful atmosphere around us. The sun shines through clouds and the gray clouds get multicolored.

Rainy season gives inspiration to many poets and writers as rain brings many changes in nature. Poets find beauty in the rain sprinkles sometimes they get attracted to the greenery around them. Writes get satisfaction in explaining the happiness of humans, animals and nature. Although rain brings happiness with it we cannot overlook the difficulties it brings with it. Heavy rains results in land slides and floods. Normal village roads becomes muddy and slippery. Communications are cut off during heavy rainfall. Sometimes old houses and building collapse due to continuous rain. Different diseases like cholera spreads in rainy season due to contaminated water. People should boil water to make it safe before drinking it.

Every coin has two sides likewise rain brings happiness and problems with it. It's in our hand to enjoy the rain by overcoming all the difficulties. Rain water should be harvested for the future use. Proper drainage system will reduce the problem of flood and landslides.

If we will reduce the loss caused by rain and will increase the level of rain . Water preservation then only rain will be blessing to us all in true sense.
